The GDI-SH steering committee invites you to the Spatial Data Infrastructure Day in Kiel on 14 March 2023 and we will be there.
The importance of geodata will be brought into focus here. In addition, the fact that the Schleswig-Holstein spatial data infrastructure (GDI-SH) is comprehensive. It can connect different technical and administrative levels with each other. Based on obligations from European and national laws and directives, it serves the dissemination and use of geodata in Schleswig-Holstein.
Smart solutions and digital twins are currently on everyone's lips. With the help of spatial data infrastructures, our environment can be mapped completely digitally. Geodata continue to be key information for future-oriented strategic planning, sound decision-making and political action.
They are an elementary building block for the work of state and local government, as well as in business, science and the public.
The lecture programme of this year's GDI-SH Day is varied and informs about the latest developments. The exhibition in the foyer of the Audimax Kiel, where GeoFly GmbH will be represented, also offers exciting applications and examples from the municipal sector, the geoinformation industry, science and start-ups from the geo sector.
Our guiding principle "We are GDI-SH!" is and remains important for the current and further expansion of the GDI-SH. It underlines the importance of our established network both within the administration and with many other partners and institutions in our state.
We look forward to exciting discussions, interesting contacts and an eventful day.
