Processing - from flight to deliverable data set

Our pipeline is designed for throughput and consistency: Aerotriangulation, dense point clouds, orthorectification, mosaicking, and LiDAR classification run on scalable infrastructure. Quality is ensured through reports and quality assurance routines. GeoFly is ISO 9001 certified.
Processing

Technical equipment

  • Photogrammetry: UltraMap, Trimble (Match-AT/DTMaster/Orthovista), Reality Studio.
  • LiDAR: RiProcess, TerraSolid (Strip-Adjust, Classification, QS).
  • GIS/Conversion: Global Mapper, FME, QGIS.
  • 3 stereo stations (PluraView and Planar)

Toolchain & Steps

  • Windows storage: ≈ 4,524 TB, Linux storage: ≈ 2,022 TB.
  • Computing power: > 1,300 CPU cores across clusters/PCs/workstations.
  • Data connection: up to 10 Gbit/s.

High throughput

Scalable computing clusters and large storage capacities enable the processing of even extensive projects in a short time. This allows for efficient coverage of large areas – without long waiting times.

End-to-end process

All processing steps are integrated into a seamless pipeline – from aerotriangulation to orthophoto or LiDAR output. The result: a deliverable dataset without media breaks.

Verifiable quality

Each step is accompanied by defined checks: checkpoints, strip statistics and radiometric reports ensure reproducible results and document the accuracy achieved.
