This was precisely the challenge a local heating cooperative from Ober Kostenz faced when contacting GeoFly in the spring. The situation was critical: despite the enormous water loss, the source could not be located. At the same time, swift action was needed to prevent further damage and costs.

Stephan Machulik, State Secretary for Housing and Tenant Protection of the Berlin Senate, visited GeoFly – in the context of our LiDAR laser scanning flight for Berlin. The data will be incorporated into the official geodata database and demonstrate how precise sensor technology and a streamlined process chain can provide a basis for decision-making regarding urban development, existing buildings, and housing.
